“… I learned to develop myself so that I could look after my nephew better. The child also improved. She liked joining all activities such as painting a doll and doing Mandala. She was calm and relaxed. She was enthusiastic to do her work…”

“… The last activity that I attended was ‘Love Language’. Before I talked with my children, I needed to control my emotion. It means that I need to improve myself first. I was now calmer and more patient…”

“… I would like to thank you CPCR staffs for their efforts. They looked after everyone very well. They teach us and gave accurate information for all parents of children…”

These are some feedbacks from parents who join CPCR activity, ‘a Minimum Standard of Child Rearing’ training for parents and other caregivers of children, age 6 – 18 years old’. Each participant is required to join 4 sessions of the workshop and all of them would have a chance to improve their parental skills. They understand how to look after their children without any family violence.

There is another activity, ‘Family Bonding Day Trip’, for children and their families. All of them would have a chance to do a day trip and spend a quality time together. Parents can practice what they have learned from the previous activity with their children. During the activity, there are CPCR staff who support them throughout the program.
