‘A Minimum Standard of Child Rearing’

CPCR conducts ‘a Minimum Standard of Child Rearing’ training for parents and other caregivers of child victims of violence and unlawful care (age 13 – 18 years old). The training consists of 4 sessions.

Activity 1: They learn how to promote their well-being, better concentration, life balance and sense of security.

Activity 2: They learn to build their self-confidence and maximize their potential.

Activity 3: They review their child rearing methods and learn a new technique which is in accordance with the minimum standard of child rearing.

Activity 4: They learn to strengthen a group of parents and build a good relation within their families.

After completing 4 activities, there is ‘the Family Day Trip’ which allows children and their parents to spend quality time together. They can do activities together and practice the positive communication and effective compliment

This activity is part of CPCR project ‘End Violence against Children in Thailand and ASEAN’ which is supported by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and terre des Hommes Germany.
