How can we

End Violence against Children in Thai Society?

On 14th (Mon) November 2022 from 1:130 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., CPCR would like to invite to attend CPCR webinar - How can We End Violence against Children in Thai Society? via zoom meeting. Ms. Wassana Kaonoparat (CPCR Director) and Mr. Sanphasait Koonpraphant (former CPCR president) will host the meeting.

Thailand has signed UNCRC for 30 years already and the Article 19 states that if someone uses violence against a child or young person, it’s never acceptable or justifiable. State parties shall take all appropriate legislative, administrative social and educational measure to protect the child from all form of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including sexual abuse, while in the care of parents, legal guardians or any other person who has the care of the child. Although Thailand has established many laws, measures and mechanisms to end violence against children, many children still become victims of violence and unlawful care and the situation are getting worse.

We would like to invite you to join the online seminar.

We would like to hear opinions from all of you - children, parents, guardians, teachers and all duty bearers.

Let’s work together to find best solutions to end all forms of violence against children

Remark: Please register via QR code and the webinar will be done in Thai language only.
